NPL for MS-Windows

Summary

MS-Windows has become one of the most prevalent PC-based platforms in the world today.   It's graphical user interface, versatility, multi-tasking capabilities, and wide array of applications make it the de facto standard in virtually every business.

Niakwa has offered a true MS-Windows based version of its NPL Runtime since 1990, providing developers a Runtime platform that provides portability, yet in an environment comfortable for the end-user.  In August of 1998, Niakwa debuted NPL Release V, the first full 32-bit MS-Windows-based Runtime, providing even more power and speed in a graphical environment, and giving developers more tools to develop more graphical user-friendly applications.

NPL for MS-Windows Runtime licenses are available in single-user, or multi-user licenses.   The multi-user licenses come in two variations: for NetBIOS networks only, or a "Supported Networks" version for Novell Netware or NetBIOS networks.   All licenses come with both the original (16-bit) Runtime for Windows 3.x and new (32-bit) Runtime for Windows 95/98 or Windows NT, as well as the base MS-DOS Runtime.
